Assignment Description

We are currently looking for three Senior Technical Test Engineers.

What You Will Work On

• Develop and execute API-based end-to-end tests for microservice-based systems
• Design, maintain, and enhance automated testing frameworks using Java and Python
• Perform functional, non-functional, integration, migration, and end-to-end testing
• Verify integrations between business-critical systems, services, and platforms
• Participate in test planning, coordination, execution, and follow-up activities
• Contribute to testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and best practices
• Support quality validation throughout development and transformation initiatives
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across development, testing, and business functions
• Ensure quality, stability, and reliability of transaction-intensive financial systems
• Support defect management, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution activities
• Provide input into test strategies, risk assessments, and quality planning
• Contribute to continuous improvements of testing processes and delivery practices
• Ensure compliance with business, operational, security, and regulatory requirements

What You Bring

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Technical Test Engineer or Technical Tester
• Documented experience with Java-based testing frameworks
• Documented experience with Python-based testing frameworks
• Strong experience with API-based end-to-end testing
• Experience testing microservice-based architectures
• Documented experience working with financial systems
• Experience performing migration testing activities
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices
• Programming experience relevant to test automation and validation activities
• Experience conducting:
• Functional Testing
• Non-Functional Testing
• Integration Testing
• Migration Testing
• End-to-End Testing
• Experience planning and coordinating testing activities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English
• Experience leading or coordinating testing efforts
• Experience working in both internal and external customer projects
• Experience with transaction-intensive systems requiring high availability and reliability
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance-driven environments
• Experience working within regulated or licensed business operations
• Ability to manage multiple activities and priorities simultaneously
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
